What I want for America is exactly what Israel already has for itself, and which America once had for itself as well.

The military-industrial complex

If you are in a place that is not your home, there is but one way to "win" permanently: exterminate the native populace down to their goldfish swimming in the kids' bedroom. Eliminate their DNA from the human genome.  Given that this level of commitment is beyond what Americans will openly tolerate (notwithstanding a blind eye turned to when agents do it for "us," e.g., East Timor), it reveals that all foreign invasions are something other than what they're called.

The USA Empire is a first.

It is the first empire in history where the goal of foreign entanglements was not to seize wealth abroad and carry it home, the goal in each and every case was/is to create a rationalization for LOOTING THE US GENERAL PUBLIC in favor of politically-connected industries, whose managers then provide kickbacks in the form of cushy jobs, campaign donations and sometimes open bribery.

• Save the planet.
• Feed the starving Africans.
• Make the world Safe for Democracy.
• Eliminate WMD's.

Each. And. Every. Case. Peel it far enough and you'll discover it's US taxpayers paying owners of US corporations and the latter paying their bought-and-paid-for politicians.  That's because for the first time in human history, the "enemies" have nothing worth looting. So war becomes an excuse to loot home.

The military doesn't defend the USA. It exists exclusively as a vehicle to funnel money from the US Treasury to businesses that supply war materiel, or as a means of punishing any foreign nation that doesn't heed the approved US/multinational corporate market-access or negotiated-price demands.

Soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. Nothing but pawns, treated as expendables.  One of the lies that has been hammered into our heads is that military service overseas is defense of the USA. It stings to realize that so many lives and so much money has been wasted on empire while the homeland is overrun. Invade the world. Invite the world. Foreign Aid to the world outside the border. Welfare to the world inside the border. 21+ trillion in debt and still the party goes on.

Given that the military only has one job: to defend the US against foreign invasion, and it not only fails to do so, but is complicit in the looting of the American taxpayer while allowing the worst invasion in the history of the human race to take place, it should be immediately defunded and disbanded, and defense of the border should be given to local volunteer militias.

As, somewhat ironically given how radical that will sound to the ignorant, the Founding Fathers intended.

Today's my birthday, so after I say thanks to everyone who says Happy Birthday to me, I'll probably go dark again and disappear.  Maybe even cancel my account for good.  In fact, I'll probably at least deactivate it now.

 But I've been going a little crazy commenting on current events, which are, of course, dominated by discussions on the Wall and immigration.  Here's a sampling of what I've said and some links I've posted.

America is already over ONE THIRD Fake American, and NONE of those Fake Americans are assimilating into American values. America has a very hard future ahead of it. Civil War is almost certainly inevitable. Fracturing and dismemberment of the country is almost certainly inevitable. Race war and ethnic cleansing is almost certainly inevitable (to the extent that it isn't already happening. Read some Colin Flaherty sometime.) 

And what do Americans do? Mostly, they still virtue signal that the EXACT CAUSES of the upcoming inevitable misery are still good and need to be maintained. Diversity is still our strength, and if we build the wall, we need to make sure it has a big gate! (Actually, all it needs is a one-way chute). And they're putting Steve King in a dunce cap for saying things that are obviously true. And the Senate came within a hair of passing a bill that would have destroyed freedom of speech with regards to Israel. Republicans, who should be our champions against the hateful nihilism of the Left, still trip over their own feet virtue signaling about how they're the party of that corrupt imperialist Lincoln, and how they completely destroyed the First Amendment guaranteed right of association in the name of "Civil Rights"—never mind that that exact same precedent is being used now to destroy our First Amendment guaranteed right to free speech under the dishonest label of "hate speech" or our First Amendment guaranteed right of religious freedom under various diversity and civil rights laws. Exactly as Satan planned, and as Ezra Taft Benson warned. Civil rights was a ravenous wolf in sheep's clothing, and even now as we're seeing its disastrous consequences, most are unwilling to call it out for the fraud that it is. Nero fiddling while Rome burns isn't an adequate metaphor anymore. All of Rome had to first have literally started the fires, and then gathered with Nero in a gigantic string concerto while their homes, their families, their people and their very civilization turned to ashes before their eyes, because that's exactly what has happened to America during my lifetime. 

We are a twice-conquered people. First, the rapacious, dishonest, neurotic North conquered the South for economic Imperialism and came up with an after-the-fact just-so story about Emancipation to justify it to future generations. More recently, even the North has been conquered by a Hebro-phile, hostile and malicious aristocracy who have pillaged and raided our economic posterity and castigated and flagellated us for so long that most Americans think that it's actually a virtue to hate your own people, your own culture, and your own civilization. 

And it's not just in America. How much self-loathing have the Germans have heaped on them for three generations? How self-hating do you have to be to allow your country to become what Sweden has become? The UK and France are jokes of a nation, their elite classes hate the people that they nominally rule over with a vileness that even the worst stereotype of the slave-owners couldn't possibly have fathomed. 

Truly, Satan has been unleashed in the world, and most of us would rather keep our heads down and try not to get his attention rather than standing up to his monumental evil. Christendom is certainly under the Lord's rather obvious and blatant condemnation for our lack of fortitude, courage, and willingness to stand up and defy the Prince of Lies.

Crazy-Eyes Cortez wasn't elected because of her socialist ideas. She was elected because her district has ethnically cleansed anyone who would have voted for less punitive revenge policies against white men for simply existing and having created a prosperous society that her people could not. 

As usual, the media has completely missed the point. The point isn't the fall of the US into socialism, it's the fall of the US into alien hands. Who also happen to be socialist. Which should surprise nobody, because the places that they come from are almost universally socialist as well. 

The Media and the idiots of Conservative, Inc. are still trying to play ideology politics when the game has changed. The only politics left in America are identity politics. That's what happens when you tip over a certain threshold of diversity in your formerly homogeneous nation. 

Diversity + proximity = War. Every. Time. The path to peace is separate nations for separate peoples so they can practice the culture that they prefer and govern themselves according to that culture, in peace and without meddling from other peoples from without. This is why American politics is such a disaster. Too few Americans are actually involved in it, and those that are are typically rootless, soul-less cosmopolitans who hate their own people and disavow them and castigate them and flagellate them, all so that they can extract their wealth for their Cloud People cronies.

For the Left especially, immigration is a debate that has nothing whatsoever to do with facts, and that's exactly how they want it. The Left has become a weird spiritual cultic movement where hating white people and their civilization is just part of their identity and faith, so destroying it is as natural as breathing to them. Nothing will ever change that. Conservatives who patiently line up facts just to get absolutely nowhere need to wake up to that and quit wasting their time and coming up with another strategy before Western civilization has gone the way of Roman or Egyptian civilization. 

Of course, part of Western civilization has always been Christianity, which should be your big clue on who the cult of Leftism really worships, even if many Churchians on the Left are in denial of it. 

UPDATE: Isn't it curious exactly how equally cult-like Conservative Inc.'s response to the Left has been, though? I mean, really—it shouldn't be hard to simply dismiss the claim that it's racist and immoral to tell people to stay in their own homes and leave ours alone. It's so profoundly stupid, in fact, that it should be dismissed with scorn and contempt for it's unbelievable idiocy. And yet, what does the Right do? Accept's the framing of the issue by the Left and frantically tries to defend themselves and virtue-signal that they're not what the Left says that they are.

I'm very glad that I've used Schick razors for many years now. Look, if you're still virtue signaling about the migrants, or immigration, or anyone who wants to "work hard" can be an American regardless of the fact that he's a Honduran or whatever else he actually is, then you need to wake up and pull your head out of the sand.  These "migrants"—and honestly, almost all of the immigrants we've had since Ellis Island or before—are not Americans and never will be, and frankly, most of them don't even want to be.  They are the new Huns, the new Goths, the new Viking hordes.  They aren't trying to "become Americans."  They're trying to colonize America, conquer America, and in the meantime, demand tribute from Americans.  When Theodosius paid Hun-geld, the amount demanded was doubled.  When Ethelred the Unready paid Dane-geld, he was overthrown and replaced; England became a mere tributary to the North Sea empire of Danish Cnut the Great.  Even when the English reasserted themselves, that only lasted for a generation or two before French speaking Danes who now used the label Norman to describe themselves took over the country permanently.

Agency vs God's omnipotence

Some selected quotes from Vox Day's The Irrational Atheist.  I'd venture to say that most Latter-day Saints have a better understanding of the theological intricacies involved than many evangelical Christians, but this is still pretty good stuff, worth thinking about.  He's not a member of our faith, but this material can easily be adapted into LDS doctrine, because it is already part of LDS doctrine, just not expressed in the typical LDS "style guide" manner.  We understand better than most because of our expanded knowledge of the Gospel that comes from additional revelation beyond that contained in the Bible, about the role of agency, and the fact that God does not often intervene in everything in our lives, or rather, that he doesn't intervene in the manner that we may want him to.  Look at Alma's comments to Amulek while the people of Ammonihah were murdering the faithful women and children among them for a great example from our Scriptures, that if other Christian religions had access to, much of the doubt around this particular question would be resolved.

That said; I dunno.  Maybe not.  The Bible contains the story of Job after all, and people still don't get it.

Doubts about the existence of God, particularly the existence of a good and loving God, often stem from great emotional pain. While doubts are naturally bound to occur to any rational individual in moments of somber reflection, it is particularly hard to imagine that a loving God who loves us would choose to intentionally inflict pain upon us, especially if He is all-powerful. When one surveys the long list of horrors that have engulfed countless men, women and children throughout the course of history, the vast majority of them innocent and undeserving of such evil fates, one finds it easy to sympathize with the individual who concludes that God, if He exists and is paying attention to humanity, must be some sort of divine sadist. 

Because doubts are reasonable, normal and inevitable, they should never be brushed aside, belittled or answered with a glib phrase, for not only does decency demand that they receive a sensitive hearing, but also because they can have powerful ramifications that resonate long after the doubter himself has had them resolved one way or another. Randal Keynes, a descendant and biographer of Charles Darwin, asserts that it was the death of Darwin's beloved daughter Annie, at the age of ten after a long illness that convicted the great evolutionist of his dangerous idea that neither divine intervention nor morality had anything to do with the operation of the natural laws. And if this tragic loss was not the only element involved in Darwin's transition from an accomplished student of theology to the inventor of what today is the primary driving force behind the anti-theist New Atheism, it is widely considered to have been the final step that pushed him over the edge. 

One would not be human if one could not sympathize with Darwin's anguished rejection of the notion that there was any justice or even a silver lining to be found in the death of his beautiful little girl. And perhaps there was some consolation, if any consolation was to be found, in viewing his terrible loss as taking place within the context of a mechanistic universe, wherein one was not subject to the ineffable caprice of an unpredictable deity, but to the predictable operation of natural laws which one could at least hope to understand and attempt to utilize. 

But [...] it is a basic theological error to attempt to place the blame for earthly tragedies on Him. In fact, it is not only a theological error, but also a fundamental error of logic to conclude that God, even an all-powerful God, must be to blame for every evil, accident or tragedy that befalls us.

There are a variety of phrases which contain the same inherent implication about a certain view of God. Many evangelical Christians often refer to “God's perfect plan” for their lives. This concept is reinforced with children's songs such as “He's got the whole world in his hands” and echoed by sports stars who compete in the assurance that their victory has been divinely secured ahead of time. It is held by American Exceptionalists who believe that God has uniquely blessed the United States of America and has authored a Manifest Destiny for it, and by Christian Zionists who see a divine hand in every violent twist and turn of the Mideast Peace Process. 

These various evangelicals have an unexpected ally in Sam Harris, who declares it to be an obvious truth that “if God exists, he is the most prolific abortionist of all” due to the fact that 20 percent of all known pregnancies miscarry, and then asserts that those who believe in God should be obliged to present evidence for his existence in light of “the relentless destruction of innocent human beings that we witness in the world each day.”
What the evangelical and the atheist have in common here is a belief that because God is omnipotent, omniscient and compassionate, he is somehow responsible for these events, although Harris would qualify that with the necessary “if he exists”. And in fairness, it must be pointed out that when Harris cites Hurricane Katrina and the 2004 Asian tsunami as God's failure to protect humanity, he is really doing rather better than the “perfect plan” evangelical who would assert that these tragedies were sent by God for some ineffable higher purpose intended to benefit humanity. 

This belief in an all-acting God, who not only guides the grand course of events but actually micromanages them, is the result of the same confusion between capacity and action that we saw in the Contradiction of Divine Characteristics. When God asserts that He cares about the sparrows and knows when one falls from its branch, this is very different from an assertion that He only happens to know about it because He personally struck the sparrow down. An omniscient God knows the numbers of hairs on your head and an omnipotent God is capable of changing their color, but it requires an active Master Puppeteer to personally pluck them, one by one, from your balding head, in the desired order.

Because we understand that God does not interfere with our agency, and that He allows trials to befall us (which is very different than actively causing those trials to befall us) this particular fallacy is one that Latter-day Saints should be more resistant to than other Christians, but I find that that's not necessary true.

I particularly like the part near the beginning, which is often one of my personal weaknesses: "Because doubts are reasonable, normal and inevitable, they should never be brushed aside, belittled or answered with a glib phrase, for not only does decency demand that they receive a sensitive hearing, but also because they can have powerful ramifications that resonate long after the doubter himself has had them resolved one way or another."  I tend to have insufficient empathy to have much patience for people who struggle with things that to me seem to be self-evident, but of course, that's a personal failing of my own, and I need to be better at it.

The Lord's position on nationalism

Fascinating stuff.  I hadn't seen this in a long time (not since I took seminary in the late 80s, I'd bet) so it wasn't on my radar until someone else of another faith pointed it out to me.

Here's the passage from the scriptures.  I skipped some verses that talk about the giants that possessed the land beforehand, and stuff like that.  From Deuteronomy 2.  Think about how this parallels the giving of the Land of Promise to the Americans. 

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: 

Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. 

Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.
